The three sister companies Clearwater Construction, DC Consulting and D H Steel Construction, worked together to total this design construct project in record time for their key client Countrywide Group. Clearwater Construction has been contracted to construct a new office block consisting of 4 levels of office space with retail space and a car park on the ground floor. Stage Two took 7 months to complete and consisted 300 lofty spec office space and 1,400m of lofty stud warehousing. Again utilizing the sister companies' DC Consulting Ltd for the structural design and D H Steel Construction Ltd for the structural steel capabilities Clearwater constructed the fresh office building comprising 1,200m of office space over 400m of hospitality area.
Clearwater worked with the client and ground floor tenant to ensure early hand over of the ground floor to enable 'The Bog' to being fit out works, as premature as possible, with the ultimate goal of having the business up and operational at the earliest feasible date. Clearwater Construction have worked closely with Countrywide Group and the final tenant, the Canterbury District Health Board which has taken the lease on the total of the office space, in order to accommodate their specific needs. The three sister companies Clearwater Construction, DC Consulting and D H Steel Construction, again worked successfully together to deliver this negotiated design build project. Another negotiated design construct project to be completed for Countrywide Group, again utilizing the synergy of Clearwater Construction's sister companies to provide the structural engineering design and structural steel fabrication and installation.
Stage One took 9 months to total and consisted 900m of lofty spec office space, 2,200m of tall stud warehouse and 800m of drive through canopy. The development involved Clearwater's sister companies, D H Steel Construction providing the structural steel and DC Consulting completing the structural design, and comprised an equal divide of 80m each for both the office and retail space. The project comprises 700m of premium office space, spread over four floors, overhead ground floor retail and hospitality space. Scope of works included detailed foundation excavation, structural steel and precast structure, three levels of suspended tangible floors, a sonafil membrane roof and curtain wall envelope to the Victoria Street frontage.
