Over the last 100 years we have changed the lives of many families, but our work is far from done. However, we see a growing need to increase awareness of the importance of the family unit to society and what it takes to raise a strong family as being in everyone’s best interest.
The challenges they overcome for the good of their children and the positive lives they go on to lead. They find themselves with a family for which they lack the resources, skills and support to look after. We seek to give parents the opportunity to become all God has created them to be as that person who carries the responsibility for the young lives entrusted to their care. Letechia was referred to Iosis’s Merivale Whanau Development Centre when she was still pregnant with her third child.
