Redcliff has received the Beef Lamb Hallmark award of Excellence since 2005, along with many other awards. Redcliff has regular scheduled New Zealand and overseas musicians playing after dinning hours. Our restaurant tends to get busy, especially during the summer season so we recommend you book ahead. not for book lovers
The Redcliff building was built in 1978 and reflects the cottage style of the early European settlers, with authentic recycled materials being used where possible.
Redcliff Station is the original home of the wagon out the front and photos on the wall depicting station life. Converted from a craft shop built and owned by Ray and Helen Willett to a Restaurant Bar in 1993 it quickly became a favourite meeting place for locals and travellers. Te Anau still has a strong farming and hunting industry, and we try to showcase the regions produce in our menu, priding ourselves on simple but tantalising food with a definite New Zealand essence. Over the past 10 years cast and crew from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit have frequently visited and enjoyed the Redcliff experience
